Introducing my new Song ‘Teddy Boy’ – a song for the legend that is Teddy MacCarthy. In an eleven-year senior inter-county playing career, Teddy played for the Cork senior hurling and football teams, winning major honours with both. He has the unique achievement of winning All-Ireland senior hurling and football medals in a single year.
I wrote the song after reading his life story.
I am thrilled with the reaction to the song. The Evening Echo has even written an article about it.
